To improve the functionality of the website and protect against misuse, the Barbacount web portal uses a locally hosted analytics solution (Matomo), which does not use cookies and does not share data with third parties.
Within the analytics, we record technical data such as the time of a visit, pages viewed, type of device, and shortened user IP address. IP addresses are automatically anonymized and are not linked to user profiles or other personal data.
The processing of this data is carried out on the basis of legitimate interest in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to ensure system stability, statistics, and protection against misuse.
Data is stored for a maximum of 30 days and is not accessible to anyone except the technical staff who maintain the system.
Users who do not wish to be included in this type of statistics can activate the "Do Not Track" option in their browser, which our system respects.
